Success at (surprise) trial! Employment Law

noahkadish

The legal team at Kadish Law would like to congratulate Avital on her recent success at trial in Toronto!

One of our clients who we represent for employment law related matters had an active case from many years ago with their former legal counsel. Counsel at the former law firm fell ill and so the case was given to us just 3 weeks before the trial was set to take place.

Avital deserves praise for her exceptional representation with such short notice. Avital was given the case to review, and quickly took steps to gather additional evidence, prepare witnesses, and craft novel arguments to successfully represent our client at trial. She did this all in just about three (3) weeks time and still went on to secure victory against opposing counsel who had over three decades of experience and had over 2 years to prepare their case.

In its decision, the Court adopted many of Avital's arguments, securing a successful outcome for our client, which included a costs award exceeding normal/anticipated amounts.
